Howdy Do, this is Leda Lou, and boy do I have a lot to tell you!
We have been in this Montana place for a few days now. It is gorgeous.
The leaves are bright and there are deer everywhere. And yes, I’ve been a very good girl about not making a fuss over them – don’t ask about Josie – I just stare intently in wonder…
Am I a deer? I have long legs too. I have a skinny nose too. My ears stand up too. But my ears are pointy, not round. I have white hair on my butt too. But my tail is much longer. Things that make you wonder…
Then I realized, deer eat lots of grasses. Nope, I am not a deer.
Today we left the west side of Glacier National Park and went to the east side.
What a beautiful drive. Shiney sun, glowing colors, it was all I could do to take it all in.
Then we drove through these large open areas of grasses with rolling hills. And cattle. We saw lots of cattle. We even saw bulls – they sure did look scary.
Then we saw really tall animals in the road and we had to stop. Mama said they were horses. I was trying real hard to get my nose out the window while mama was taking a picture. Josie started to be fussy again and papa did not like that. But then the horses moved and we were on our way again.
Now we are on the east side of the park. And guess what we found here –
CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?
I mean, really? I thought we left that stuff back in Alaska. I don’t think papa is too crazy about it.
But truth be told, I don’t mind it so much. Snow everywhere just means more places to poop!
Nobody can get mad at me if I poop in snow, because I have no idea what’s under it.
Yup, snow is freedom. Freedom to poop without being shamed.
I am excited to venture out and discover what is here on this east side of the park.
