Look closely… can you see her? Can you see the puppy?
That’s right. Even puppies are totally in love with me. Because I am the Josie. And despite how much of a rambunctious, pain in the butt I can be, everyone loves me. Even puppies.
I must admit, I really have no idea what to do with such a small little rug rat. This tiny little ball of fur is barely 5 weeks old, and her name is Ozzy.
Ozzy was rejected by her puppy mama a little early in life, but she already has a really good home with some friends of my Papa. Who we are visiting. And I must say, we are having a really good time. Well, at least I am.
Papa’s friends have another pup named Mia. Mia is a rescue dog too. She’s a little skittish, but her and I made fast friends. I wasn’t sure what to think of Mia at first, she kept standing up and pawing my back. But then I realized she just wanted to play. So we have been enjoying lots of play time.
My mama got us to stop long enough to pose for a picture. Can you see the smile on my face? I’m a happy Josie. And I think Mia is happy too.
I wasn’t sure what to think about Ozzy at first either. She’s so small. And I’m so big.
But before I knew it, that puppy was all over me. Turns out, she really digs my long hair. She likes to curl up in my hair and play with my tail.
Which I’m okay with. Except for when I didn’t know she had a hold of my tail and I got up, flicked my tail, and sent the puppy flying! But apparently the puppy doesn’t mind because she keeps following me and coming back for more.
Now as for Leda, I’m not so sure she’s having the best time. Mia is a little intimidating and Leda does not like it. So Leda is sticking close to Mama, while doing everything she can to avoid Mia, and leaves the romping and playing to me.
Which I am totally fine with.
Gotta go – my new friends are calling me!
