Leda Lou here. Let me tell you about how awesome it has been in this place called Isabel Pass.
We are in this wide valley where you can see all around you. And you have amazing views of lots of mountain and the Gulkana Glacier.
There is so much open space, me and Josie have been able to practice our “off leash” skills. And what a blast that has been! Hanging out while mama and papa sit in their lounge chairs and admire the view.
We even got to run with papa while he rode his bicycle! We did really good too – until Josie darted off to the bushes. Mama got a little worried, but turns out Josie was just doing some business and came right back.
I was so happy! You can see the smile on my face in this picture that mama took even though papa says it’s unfocused – whatever that means.
The day before we went on a 2.5 mile hike towards to north. I got to be the leader with mama, and after making our way through some zig zag trails, we came across a river made by the glacier. It was super cold. But I didn’t mind so much because it was a hot day and it helped me cool off.
I have been doing my best to listen to my mama when she asks me to do something, I love to see her smile and that makes me happy. Plus, she gives me lots of cookies.
Papa talked about staying two nights here, then heading down the road. But mama said no, we should stay for three. And I’m really glad she did. We have been having such a good time together.
Hi! We are Josie & Leda - and we are the canines of this castle! We are living the good life with our people. Check out and enjoy our adventures!
