When we were first researching full time RV life, one aspect I spent a great deal of time on was RVing with dogs. I searched everywhere for articles about life with dogs on the road. And I read everything I could get ahold of.
What I discovered is, the majority of RVers bring their dogs with them. But many of the articles were written by people to RV’d with smaller dogs. Even now that we have been on the road for a few months, I can tell you from what I’ve seen, most people RV with small to medium sized dogs, or they have one larger dog.
It was difficult for me to find information about RVing with multiple large dogs. Now that I have some experience, there’s a few things I’ve learned about RVing with dogs. So I’ve put together this series of posts for others out there looking for their own research, or if you are just interested in hearing about my crazy life with two large dogs in a small space, feel free to read on.
By the time I was done with this write up, it ended up being a very, very long single post. So to make it more manageable for you – I broke it down into smaller segments. Links for all the segments are below.
*Special note – those of you who follow our adventures know that we recently lost our sweet Leda Lou to cancer. I was in the middle of writing this piece when she left us. Most of my writing refers to both Josie and Leda. And well, I just couldn’t bring myself to change it. It has taken me a while to get back to it and finish so I could finally post and share with you. Thanks for understanding.
